Traditional colour boards serve the function of allowing the client to see what they are getting. This has major disadvantages in that, material samples are disproportionate to what the space will require. e.g. a huge curtain sample and small wall finish sample is not a fair reflection on the proportions and balance of a space where the walls occupy 50% of the visible colour. These often get damaged, take time to approve and are hard to document.
